Why Women Should Not Run

This is one of the best article I have read in regards to weight loss being correlated with hours of cardio. This is also the best explanation as why I don’t do excessive cardio in my contest prep; which I have noticed is very common among competitors.

I have yet to exceed 20-30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week and I have lost significant body fat by keeping an intense and heavy weight training routine and very clean diet.

Running that extra mile or hour to burn off the cheesecake you justified at lunch will not help you. You need weight training, a clean diet and self control…

Thank you for posting this. This is the SECOND great article/video about how cardio will not be the way to lose weight, firm up etc. THANKS girl.

Fuck you. I love running. Don’t you dare tell me not to run.

While I know you cannot do just cardio, I’m with her ^! Not going to stop running, I love it too much.

The problem is that you don’t just choose recovery. You have to keep choosing recovery, over and over and over again. You have to make that choice 5-6 times each day. You have to make that choice even when you really don’t want to. It’s not a single choice, and it’s not easy.
